I'm a Häagen-Dazs Rose Project 2024 Nominee!

Ever thought about how ice cream can empower women? Me neither, until I learned more about Häagen-Dazs and the inspiring story about it’s co-founder, Rose Mattus. 

Rose and her husband, Reuben, co-founded the brand in 1960 and whilst Reuben focussed on making the ice cream, it was Rose who was the brains behind its trailblazing marketing strategy. 

In March last year, over 2,500 nominations were submitted globally in the first year of The Häagen-Dazs Rose Project, to recognise #WomenWhoDontHoldBack. This global initiative recognises and celebrates the commendable achievements and societal contributions of some truly remarkable women and I am honoured to be one of only two shortlisted from the UAE, of the final 50 nominees. The all-female global panel to judge the entries includes: Aurélie Lory who is the Global Managing Director at Häagen-Dazs shops, along with UK-based author and philanthropist Katie Piper, fashion entrepreneur Velda Tan, Spanish entrepreneur and creative director Inés Arroyo and Mercedes Palomar, founder of women’s community network Lady Multitask Mercedes from Mexico.

The long term intentions of the project resonate with my own business objectives - I love working with women to build the life that they want and to succeed in their businesses; taking women to their next professional step and giving them the tools to ensure their business is, and remains consistently profitable. 

One of the ways I do this is with my Concept to Consistent Profit programme.
